Gabriela Marques releases her first EP Solitude with re-recordings of her musical references. Among the covers are songs by Tom Jobim, Hoagy Carmichale and Filó Machado Gabriela Marques started her musical career in 2013 and releases her first EP Solitude in 2021, with references from Jazz and Brazilian Popular Music. The singer is influenced by names such as Clarice Assad, Badi Assad, Rosa Passos, Elis Regina, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan. Solitude is a celebration that brings together songs that are part of Gabriela's personal trajectory, coinciding with her journey through music. The work has five covers, by Tom Jobim, Hoagy Carmichale, Filó Machado, J. Fred Coots / Sam M. Lewis and Eddie Delange & James Van Heusen. In addition, it has special guest appearances by Carlos Malta and Manoel Vieira. The songs were recorded at the Base Slz & Quebrantar Music studio between February and June, in the city of São Luís, and the production is signed by Paulo Muniz.
